Skål International Nepal recently organized a tree plantation program to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development.

The event was aimed at raising awareness about the importance of trees and their role in mitigating climate change.

With shovels and saplings in hand, everyone enthusiastically began planting around 500 trees in Sifal, Gaushala on 17 June 2023.

In addition to planting trees, the event also included other activities such as cleaning the surroundings and raising awareness about waste management. The members actively engaged in cleaning up the area and spreading awareness about the importance of maintaining cleanliness for a healthier environment.

Skål International Nepal plans to continue organizing such tree plantation programs in different parts of the country to create a greener and more sustainable Nepal.
