Best Club of the Year Mexico
Skål International Bahías de Huatulco has been distinguished as Club of the Year, for meeting and then going beyond the requirements.
Although it was already chosen as the best club in the world in 2018, the perseverance is appreciated.
The club is comprised of 32 members, including directors and owners of Hotels, Restaurants, Travel Agencies, Spas, Tourism Marketing, Medical Tourism, Transport Operators and Producers who conduct Mezcal and Coffee Tours.
They appreciate that the role of women in the development of Tourism is crucial, as is the inclusion of young talent, so that together, men and women create a useful synergy that benefits them as a club and consequently benefits the Sector.
They have actively participated in projects that have contributed to certifying Huatulco in Sustainability at the Master level by EarthCheck, the only club in the Americas to achieve this, as well as being named Mexico’s Wellness destination, by certifying its companies with the seal of Health by SECTUR, among much others.
Creators of the Skål Carbon Neutral project, which was submitted to the Sustainable Tourism Awards, where they participate every year.
They share their activities and meetings, these being thematic and cultural, on official Skål pages, as well as on social networks.
Best National Board
Holding a National Board Meeting with a great commitment, receiving Skålleagues from 23 destinations across Mexico is a great responsibility, but also a source of enormous pride.
The logistics have to be impeccable, from the organisation of the golf tournament to activities for companions, showcasing the most beautiful and emblematic places, as well as their cuisine.
The core event is the meeting where all matters must be taken care of, closing with the linchpin that is the Gala Dinner, which complies with the protocols and high level that the Tourism professionals of Mexico deserve.
That’s why, through a vote of the presidents in attendance, they decided that the Best National Board in 2021 was that of the Skål International Manzanillo-Costa Alegre club.

Signing of the SkålMex and AMAV Agreement
Achieving strategic alliances that represent a common benefit is an achievement worthy of recognition and, above all, of working to obtain the benefit that this represents.
Particularly with partners in Tourism, such as the signing of an agreement between Skål International Mexico and the Association of Travel Agencies (AMAV) to bring common benefits.
