National activities of Skål International Mexico Apr-May’21

Skål International Mexico confirms nationwide activities that took place over the last few weeks between the 23 clubs:

        #WorldSkalDay Celebration

        Skål International Mexico celebrated #WorldSkalDay on Wednesday, April 28, with a toast cheer from the Skål International Mexico National President Enrique Flores, gathered by many Skålleagues from the 23 clubs of México and it finished with the great Mexican Chef & Skålleague David Cetina, doing some traditional gastronomy flavors of Yucatán.

        Skål International Mexico, present in the WTTC 20th Global Summit

        Skål International Mexico, present in the WTTC 20th Global Summit, held in Cancun on 25-27 April. The #WTTCSummit was a success, leaving Cancún an eye-opener for the Travel and Tourism Industry #GS2021 ‘Uniting the World for Recovery’.

        The Summit closed with the Former Professional Tennis Player and World No.1 Martina Navratilova, the most successful female tennis player of the Open era, as Key Note speaker.

        WTTC presented the Cancun Declaration, which meaning is to support women in Travel & Tourism.

        Skål International Guadalajara

        Monthly meeting

        Skål International Guadalajara held its monthly meeting on the terrace of the Mexia Landmark Restaurant, with the prestigious, renowned chef Nico Mejia and the luncheon was presided by Jorge Berrio De León.

        New Skålleagues, Jorge Zaragoza of the hotel corporate JJ Díaz de Sandi, took oath to be part of Skål International Guadalajara.

        It was a Mexican meal from north to south prepared by one of the most prestigious chefs in the region (Nico Mejía), born in Colima and eternal promoter of the Gastronomy of Mexico.


        Skål International Los Cabos

        Viva Restaurant & SportBar, within the property of Los Cabos Golf Resort, was the venue for the luncheon that Skålleague Alfonso Murillo hosted with President Gabriel Larrea.

        On this occasion, there were invitees from the Clubs of  Monterrey and Puerto Vallarta. 

        Apart from the traditional lunch,  Skålleagues were offered different activities during this event.  Audi Car Company showed their cars and time to practice golf.

        Huge appreciation to all the staff at Viva for their excellent service.

        Skål International Tijuana – Ensenada

        Monthly meal

        Skålleagues, we gladly share a brief review of our monthly Skål Internacional Tijuana- Ensenada meal, where we had an excellent afternoon in a private space and with all the care with Chef Marcela Kitchen on Thursday, March 18 that started at 14.30 hrs and presided by the club President Carlos Cruz.

        We had some special guests among them present; Undersecretariat of Tourism Ivette Casillas, the Manager of The Association of Northwest Hotels Ashono Edgar Casillas, Juan Saldaña by the Tijuana Tourism Committee, Reynaldo Ricalde - Insurance Company Omega, Raúl Islas Expert Travel Advisor and also distinguished special guests the wives of some partners attending the lunch, with the idea of reviving our tourism industry of the region.

        Skål International Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit

        #WorldSkalDay Celebration

        Excellent food from Skål International Puerto Vallarta - Riviera Nayarit celebrated, #WorldSkalDay at the Hotel Villa Estancia with host Skålleague Jorge Castro Ledesma many symbolic details of Skål International. The President of the club Alberto Berriel presided over this grand celebration with our National President Skål International México Enrique Flores; there was an exchange of words, new incoming members.

        Skål International Isla Mujeres - Puerto Morelos

        #WorldSkalDay Celebration

        Skål International Isla Mujeres-Puerto Morelos 723 met for their fourth luncheon with 28 members and invitees, including our International Counsellor Fernando Azcona, to celebrate #WorldSkalDay, 

        The event finished with a raffle campaign that started on April 8 to #HelpRocio, General Secretariat of Skål International México due to the COVID circumstance that her son has been battling since late January. There were 23 winning winners, and they finished with a tasting of mescal!
